Reading and Writing Capacity Building at Mpoase Methodist School

Education has been proved to be a vital tool to prevent the transmission of poverty between generations.

Acquired basic skills such as reading, writing and numeracy have a documented positive effect on marginalized populations’s income. It increases the rate of return on the economy more especially in developing economies like Ghana.

Glimmer of Hope Foundation aims to use education as a tool to end the cycle of poverty.

These books donated to the lower primary kids are targeted at building their capacity in reading and writing. Reading and writing are the fundamental skills that each student must master as it is the stepping stone to all other forms of learning.

We are committed to see to it that the marginalized get the help needed to build this skill; one school at a time, one child at a time.

We had a great time with the Mpoase Methodist Basic School students today.

Grateful to the support of all the members of Glimmer of Hope Foundation.
